5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website and portal may use essential and functional cookies or similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, secure accounts, and operate the service. Browser settings may allow you to limit cookies, although doing so may affect certain functionality.
Ranes mobile applications do not include third-party advertising trackers.
6. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, administer customer relationships, maintain security, resolve disputes, and meet contractual, accreditation, audit, or legal requirements.
When an account is deleted, personal account information is deleted or anonymized through our account-deletion process. Some organization-controlled operational records may be retained when necessary to preserve required audit trails, legal records, contractual commitments, accreditation evidence, or fraud-prevention information. Where appropriate, retained records will be de-identified or separated from the deleted account.
Information stored in backups may remain temporarily until it is removed through normal backup-retention schedules.
7. Account Deletion
You may request account deletion from the Ranes application by opening Settings, selecting Account, and choosing Delete my account.
After a deletion request:
- Your active sessions are revoked.
- A seven-day recovery period begins.
- You may cancel the request during that recovery period.
- After the recovery period, your account and personal profile information are deleted or anonymized, subject to the limited retention obligations described above.

9. Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, and loss. No system can guarantee absolute security, but we regularly review and improve the protections applied to Ranes services.
10. International Processing
Information may be processed in the United States or other locations where Ranes and its service providers operate. When required, we use appropriate safeguards for transferring and processing information across jurisdictions.
